Three Quick Notes

1. Reminder!  I will be chatting live over on Purlsonline tonight at 6:00 PST.  I’d love to see you there! Come on over, ask me questions, hang out, and watch how many typos I can rack up in an hour. 😉

2. My publisher has this cool feature on their web page called The Author’s Desk.  I’ve enjoyed reading it for awhile, and was thrilled to have a chance to contribute.  If you want to read my little post about magic, and why I seem to have such a thing for it in my writing, check it out here.

3. In writing news, I am busily at work on the last Allie Beckstrom book.  Strangely (or maybe not) I’m a little nervous.  It is the end of the nine-book story arc that I started with book one, MAGIC TO THE BONE.  I don’t think it’s the last I will ever play in Allie’s world.  Still, I’ve never ended a series before, so this is a new experience for me.

Even though I know what’s going to happen in the story and how everything will end, I still catch myself biting my lip and holding my breath as I type…excited to see how all the threads and bits will finally tie off and bloom into something that is (hopefully!) endful of awesome.
