TIN SWIFT and the Curiously Delightful Blog Tour Extravaganza
A couple months ago, my publisher contacted me and asked if I wanted to do a blog tour to celebrate the release of TIN SWIFT (release date, July 3). Having never done a blog tour, I asked some writer friends what the pros and cons of a tour might be, then promptly told my publisher I’d love to do it!
In case you’ve never been a part of a blog tour, it’s basically a writer visiting several blogs, usually one a day, to do interviews, or guest posts, or just to chat with readers. Cool right? But wait…there’s more!
I will be making 20 stops at 20 awesome blogs. On each blog will be a “chapter” of the new, never-before-seen, not-available anywhere else in the world, free Age of Steam short story, HANG FIRE. This story takes place smack-dab between book #1 DEAD IRON and book #2 TIN SWIFT.
To read the entire story, all you have to do is follow the blogs I visit in order. I will post links every day on my blog/Facebook/Twitter, etc. in case you miss a day and need to catch up on the story.
And I have even more goodies planned!
One reader on each blog will receive a prize package containing:
- a copy of TIN SWIFT
- a very cool TIN SWIFT magnet
- a handmade (by me and dear hubby) one-of-a-kind, fantastically steampunk bookmark, signed by me!
All of this begins June 19th, so there’s plenty of time to mark your calendars to get in on the fun. As I said, I will keep you up-to-date on all the visits and shenanigans, so check back here for more news!

Colleen,
I suppose it *could* be knitted, but the ones I’ve made aren’t. 🙂
