Scissor Kisses Out Now
This is it, people! The third novella in the Ordinary Magic series. SCISSOR KISSES is out now, and available for your digital reading pleasure.
Here is the cover by the terrific Lou Harper, and a little bit about the story:
This Valentine’s Day there’s more than hearts at risk…
Police officer Myra Reed prefers her life orderly, predictable, and logical. Unfortunately, she lives in the little beach town of Ordinary, Oregon where gods vacation and monsters cause all sorts of trouble.
Her most recent headache is a sexy demon named Bathin, who has tricked his way into both living in Ordinary, and owning her sister’s soul. She wants him out of Ordinary. He wants…her.
Myra will get her sister’s soul back no matter the price. But first she must deal with a stalker, a crossroads deal, and a dangerous spell that could fix everything, or reveal the one secret she’s buried deep: she might be falling in love with a demon. Amazon | Kobo | B&N | iTunes
All three covers:
The Ordinary magic stories (novellas) are each about a third of a standard urban fantasy book length, and can be read as stand-alones, even though they do take place after the Ordinary Magic novels (Death and Relaxation, Devils and Details, Gods and Ends).
Will there be a print version of the Ordinary stories? YES! Look for Rock, Paper, Scissors: Ordinary Magic Stories to be out in print by the end of April.
And just to keep things fun, I’m going to write another full length novel in the Ordinary universe. Myra’s novel (as yet untitled) will be available in ebook and print format in the autumn of this year. It may contain a mystery, a demon, a dragon pig, a god with questionable fashion tastes, a romance, a risk, a lot of laughter, and the most difficult puzzle of a stolen soul.
Happy reading!
