2019 Events (so far)
Some years I feel like a big ole hermit. It’s partly the nature of being a writer–quite a lot of time needs to be spent alone, working on creating words, worlds, and people who are fun to torture watch grow through adversity.
But truth be told, it’s partly because I’m an introvert. This year, I’m trying to shake things up and get out and about a little more. So I’ve said “yes” to some really fun events.
If you are a writer or a reader and want to meet me–here’s a list of places you can find me! If you are a writer or a reader and don’t want to meet me BUT you want to attend some cool writerly/readerly events–here’s the same list of places!
Events I’ll be attending (so far) in 2019
February 20-24: Rainforest Writer’s Retreat Lake Quinault, Washington
March 21: Willamette Writers Salem, Oregon
April 27: Reader’s Guide Independent Bookstore Day, Salem, Oregon
May 4: Write Here Write Now Salem, Oregon (this link is to last year’s event, which I also attended)
July 13: Readers & Writers Seattle, Washington
August 1-4: Gencon Indianapolis, Indiana
I’ll probably add to this list as the year goes on. For example, I LOVE attending the big Sci-Fi/Fantasy authorfest at Powell’s Books in November, and hope I’ll be invited to attend this year. But for now, this is where I’ll be when I’m not at home, hermited up, destroying fictional lives creating fun stuff to read.
