Catching Up

Hi! Hi, hi!

So, it’s been a busy summer. Or rather, it was a busy summer. One minute, it was spring and I was publishing DIME A DEMON (Myra’s book in the Ordinary Magic series) and the next minute it’s October.

WHERE DID ALL THAT TIME GO??

It went to lots of places and things. Signings, book events, writing retreats, writing, updating business processes, video filming and editing, Gencon(!), weddings, star gazing in the desert, mountain hiking, gardening, family events, birthdays, knitting.

Also, a big ole home improvement project that started with hubby and I shoveling 10,000 pounds of gravel, 10,000 pounds of dirt, and placing 2,000 pounds of bricks. We’ve gutted two rooms in the basement, and sorted through/thrown away/given away piles and PILES of stuff.

By the end of the home improvement project, we’ll have bigger windows in the basement, one of which will be an egress window, and we’ll have a fantastic lower-level living space. Since we’re both do-it-yourselfers, that means we’re putting in time and physical labor to get this done.

Nothing like a house remodel to keep you in shape! (Take that, gym!)

But I thought it was time to return to blogging at least once a week, like the good ole days because, honestly? I miss it. 😉 So if you like keeping track of my weekly whining writing (and other stuff), tune in**, my friends!
