I Can See The Future

Thanks to a sharp-eyed reader, I just discovered I have psychic powers! 😉

This is an excerpt from MAGIC WITHOUT MERCY, book #8 in my Allie Beckstrom series, published in 2012.

“The epidemic is getting worse. They’re telling people to stay off the streets, stay home, unless absolutely necessary. They’re telling people to wash their hands and wear masks.”

See? I knew the future!

Haha, okay, so when the reader posted the paragraph in a reader group I’m a part of (here, if you want to join: Urban Fantasy Fiends I was all: I’m the author. That is not in that book, as I recall. Because I did not recall writing about an epidemic.

Then I looked it up. It is in the book! The reader was right! Since MAGIC WITHOUT MERCY was written about 20 books ago, I had forgotten the subplot. (I might be able to see the future, but apparently the past is a little foggy)

So, anyway, now that I know I can predict the future, let me adjust my magic glasses and peer deeply into my crystal ball. I see…books in your future. Fun reads. Interesting stories. Magical stuff. Some might even be by an author named Devon Monk. 😉

    I started reading the Alli Beckstrom series in between new releases. I am only on book 2 right now but it’s winter and more time indoors means more reading. I am actually reading the latest Ordinary book. I really do enjoy your books. I am not a book dragon like my wife so it’s got to be entertaining to keep my attention and your books are fun. Thank you for sharing!
