New Book and a Super Penguin

Hurray! NOBODY’S GHOUL, book #8 of the Ordinary Magic series is out now!

One of the fun things about writing a series with this many books is I get a chance to catch up loose threads from earlier volumes and weave them into the story. It also lets me think about un-taken paths waiting to be explored in upcoming books.

In this book, Ryder’s past shows up to complicate things, and so does something out of the gods’ ancient history. The heartfelt conversation between Delaney and Myra about their mother got me thinking about their childhood, and the woman their father briefly married after their mother’s death. Hmmmm….possibilities = endless.

All of that to say…I had a great time writing this book, hope you get a chuckle or two out of it, and oh, yes, I have some devious plans for where the story’s going to go!

Back cover:
Police Chief Delaney Reed can handle supernatural disasters. With gods vacationing in her little town of Ordinary, Oregon, and monsters living alongside humans, she’s had plenty of practice.

But trying to handle something so normal, so average, so very ordinary as planning her own wedding to the man she loves? Delaney is totally out of her depth.

When a car falls out of the sky and lands on the beach, Delaney is more than happy to push guest lists and venue dates out of her mind. The car appears empty, but someone has slipped into Ordinary with stolen weapons from the gods. Someone who has the ability to look like any god, monster, or human in town. Someone who might set off a supernatural disaster even Delaney can’t handle.

I have signed up for your newsletter, but have yet for it to reach my inbox. I did the “search the junk folder and click the link” it says I’m subscribed, but I still don’t get it. *sad face* I’ve tried several times now. *another sad face*

I’m working on it. There seems to be a glitch in my newsletter subscriber list. I’ve sent this newsletter to you, and it should show up somewhere in your in box or spam box. 🙂

Thanks for letting me know you weren’t getting it!
