Writing: I spent July working on a side project novel, which was both the most fun ever, and super frustrating. I probably re-worked the world-building, characters, plot, and beginning of the book a dozen times. And, no, I still don’t have it nailed down, nor do I feel like I got into the groove with the story. *weeps ungroovily*

But! I am a stubborn old thing. I’ll figure it out and make it sing one of these days. There will be so. Much. Singing. (and it will be groovy.) 😉



Next Book: August 1st, I’ll start writing WAYWARD SKY, book 3# in the Souls of the Road series. This should be out this year, probably late autumn. I’ll have a firmer date soon.

July: Has been hot and busy! I’ve filmed a Youtube video every Monday on my channel for 25 weeks, includinging the one Monday I was RVing at the beach and had to try multiple parking areas and pull-outs along the road to find strong enough internet connection, lol. If you want to listen to me talk writing, knitting, and life in general for 15 minutes, tune in and check it out.

Knitting:

Yup, a rainbow-headed, hairy-chested purple monster, from a pattern called: Third is the One with a Hairy Chest by Annie Watts. He was ridiculously fun (and a little tricky) to knit. I gave him away in my latest newsletter, and I’m happy to say the winner has already claimed him!
