Book Round Up 2022
This is going to be a short post, because 2022 was not a speedy writing year for me. I had hoped to publish four books in 2022, but landed right at three, with much writing, planning, and shifting around of other upcoming projects.
Here’s what came out NEW in 2022:
BRUTE OF ALL EVIL – Book 9 in the Ordinary Magic series.
This is a soft end of the Ordinary Magic series. Why do a soft end now? Well, I have a couple other series that need some attention so I thought this was a good spot to pause on Ordinary.
Will I write more Ordinary books? Oh, I expect I certainly will.
BRUTE OF ALL EVIL is available in digital, print, audio and will be out via Graphic Audio.
WAYWARD SKY – Book 3 in the Souls of the Road series.
Speaking of Ordinary, this is its “sister” series. While not set in Ordinary, Oregon, this series takes place in the world outside that little beach town, specifically on the magic, monster, and god filled Route 66.
One might even run into some gods one has seen in Ordinary. Perhaps, even, a certain kite seller who wears kitschy Tshirts and has a thing for tea. (Death. I’m talking about Death).
WAYWARD SKY is available in digital and print, and will be coming out in Graphic Audio.
DIRTY DEEDS 2 – Is a collection that was only available for six months and it is no longer for sale.
But fear not! My story in it, is OAK AND INK, which is a side story set in the Souls of the Road series, will be republished as a stand alone in February.
2022 was a fun writing year! I love so much about all three of the books that came out.

Quite frankly, finishing three books in one year seems like a Herculean effort to me. Thank you for your hard work; your books are always enjoyable and must-haves in my collection.

Three books is no mean feat! Gah! I could never write that many in a single year. I’m currently attempting to convince myself that I can, indeed, finish writing Null Witch (a side-kick novel in the Moon Shadow series). Last year I only wrote and published a long novella. I just hope I can finish Null Witch and get it published this year! I’ll worry about the next book AFTER it’s out. Happy New Year and thank you much for the Penguin Writing Companion, complete with bookbag!
