First Sunrise of Autumn

What a beautiful start to fall! I ran outside barefoot to catch this photo this morning and didn’t feel chilled. (We have cooled from our summer temperatures, but September has been mild and on the warm side.)

The weather guessers say we’ll have a day this week somewhere near 90F (31C) and then temps drop as the rain comes in. I’m looking forward to the change of season, to the rain.

While I love summer, I crave rainy days, cloudy skies, cooler nights, and all things cozy. And with this sunrise to kick it off? Heck yes! Bring it, Autumn! 🙂

    Cooler weather yes! Just read my first book from you – Dead Iron. I’m 66 years young and enjoyed the heck out of it. I have the other two books and look forward to reading more of your work! Enjoy life!
